ABOUT THE PFC AND KALAMAZOO FARMERS MARKET
The PFC (People’s Food Co-op of Kalamazoo) is a natural grocer, deli, and farmers market operator cooperatively owned by about 3,800 community members.  In 2013, PFC began serving as the operator of the Kalamazoo Farmers Market in partnership with the City and the community of vendors.  Our mission is to connect customers and market businesses through honest relationships, and to support community and local economies through a thriving market culture

2024 SEASON IMPORTANT DATES
April 1: Priority deadline for Vendor Applications (particularly Seasonal Vendors)
April 16 & 18: Mandatory New Vendor Open Houses at Market, 3-6 pm
April 26: Seasonal Vendor rent due in full OR payment plan agreements and first payment due (25% of the total balance). Night Market rent is also due in full on this date.
May 4: Opening Day (Saturdays), 7 am-1 pm.

2024 VENDOR RATES:

SATURDAY MARKET

• SEASONAL COVERED STALL WITH TABLE AND ADJACENT PARKING: $800

• SEASONAL COVERED STALL WITH TABLE (NO ADJACENT PARKING): $620

• SEASONAL COURTYARD STALL: $525

• SEASONAL FOOD TRUCK: $525

• SEASONAL ELECTRICITY: $25/season per stall

• DAILY VENDOR STALL (stall location TBD week of event): $50

• DAILY ELECTRICITY: $5

TUESDAY/THURSDAY MARKETS

• SEASONAL COVERED STALL WITH TABLE AND ADJACENT PARKING: INCLUDED with the price of a Seasonal Saturday Stall

• DAILY VENDOR STALL: $10.

NIGHT MARKETS

• COVERED STALL WITH TABLE, FOOD TRUCK/CART SPACE FOR ONE NIGHT MARKET: $50/Night Market

• COVERED STALL WITH TABLE, FOOD TRUCK/CART FOR ALL FOUR NIGHT MARKETS: $160/Night Market

• Electricity: Included

KIDS MARKETS

• COVERED STALL WITH TABLE: $5/Kids Market

• Electricity: Included

PLANT- BASED PARTY

• Community Booth/Non-Profit: $20

• Food Truck/Stall/Other (Artisans, Growers, etc.): $40

  *We're offering a $5 discount to seasonal Saturday Vendors.

2024 Application Instructions

• Take Your Time & Use a Computer (NOT a Phone): You must fill out this application all at once, as you are not able to save it until it is fully completed. We strongly encourage using a computer, NOT a cell phone. If you require additional help filling this application out, Market Staff is available! Please let us know.

• Required Supplemental Documents (licensing, certifications, Cottage Food labels, etc.): These files can still be uploaded directly with your application. You can find a list of these required documents in the 2024 Vendor Policies Handbook in addition to the Vendor Application. If your license is about to expire, please enter in the correct expiration date so we can contact you for the 2023 updated copy.

• Adding Products Sold: When adding products, please be as specific as possible and enter each product in groups or individually. Please keep in mind the box that you enter in the products has a maximum character count, so you may need to continue your list of products on a new line. For example, you could list all of your fish products together: whitefish, lake trout, king (chinook) salmon, walleye, perch fillets, smoked whitefish, trout and salmon filets, smoked whitefish, trout and salmon pate.
