Our Community Booth is one stall, free of charge, that we offer to organizations seeking to share information with Market shoppers. Organizations must apply to use this space. We prioritize organizations that support our mission, local food initiatives, healthy living, and sustainability, although we host organizations that work in all sorts of areas.
We do not allow organizations or individuals to distribute materials, solicit, collect signatures, or otherwise set up at the Market without an approved application.
On their scheduled day, Community Booth organizations may provide shoppers with information or free items, or collect sign-ups while at the Market.
Organizations at community booths may not sell anything at the Market. If you are looking to sell at the Market, please visit our Vendor Application page.
10’x10’ tents/pop-up canopies are permitted. You must have 25 lb. weights for each tent leg to properly secure your tent. If not, you may be asked to take your tent down.
Folks staffing Community Booths must park in designated Vendor Parking in the outer parking lot (NOT in any spots adjacent to the market pavilion, as those are reserved by specific vendors). Parking in the correct area helps ensure close parking for Market shoppers.
Unless alternative arrangements have been made prior to Market day, you are expected to occupy the Community Booth on your scheduled day from Market open to close. Space and/or table may be forfeited if you are late without notifying the Market Manager beforehand.
Please do NOT create your own separate Facebook events for the Market. Facebook events for each Market are created using the Kalamazoo Farmers Market official page. Community Booth organizations are encouraged to share Market Facebook events, post in the discussions on the event page, and invite their friends to the event.
Folks staffing Community Booths must abide by all other Market Rules & Guidelines.
If your organization is interested in a Community Booth, please:

Please indicate the Market dates in which you’re hoping to participate. Your organization is not guaranteed to be scheduled for the Community Booth on those dates.
Your organization will receive an email with information on what to expect prior to your scheduled Market day. Please add pfcmarkets@pfckalamazoo.coop to your address book to prevent these emails being sent to your spam folder.
Please direct any questions to pfcmarkets@pfckalamazoo.coop.
