INGREDIENTS:
1 medium red cabbage, cored and sliced thin or shredded, about 8 cups
2 medium apples, cored and sliced thin, about 2 cups
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
1/3 cup maple syrup
1 ½ tsp. kosher salt
¼ tsp. black pepper
DIRECTIONS:
Core and cut apples into thin slices.
Core and cut cabbage into thin slices or shred with a box grater.
Sauté cabbage and apples in oil until slightly browned.
Add vinegar, water, maple syrup, salt and pepper.
Simmer until cabbage and apples are tender.
Plate and enjoy!
