ABOUT THE PFC AND KALAMAZOO FARMERS MARKET
The PFC (People’s Food Co-op of Kalamazoo) is a natural grocer, deli, and farmers market operator cooperatively owned by about 3,800 community members.  In 2013, PFC began serving as the operator of the Kalamazoo Farmers Market in partnership with the City and the community of vendors.  Our mission is to connect customers and market businesses through honest relationships, and to support community and local economies through a thriving market culture.

Applications accepted throughout the season as availability permits.

March 25: Priority deadline for Vendor Applications (particularly Seasonal Vendors)
April 14 & 16: Vendor Open Houses for new seasonal saturday vendors only at the Market, 3-6pm
April 29: Seasonal Vendors rent due in full OR payment plan first payment due (25% of the total balance). Night Market rent is also due in full.
May 2: Opening Day (Saturdays)
Aug 1: Seasonal Vendors on payment plan stall fees due in full.

Community Booths, Sponsors, & Musicians

COMMUNITY BOOTHS

  • Free of charge.

  • Review the Community Booth Rules & Guidelines and the 2026 Vendor Policy Handbook before applying.

  • Direct sales are prohibited. The organization may offer promotional materials.

  • Saturday and Tuesday/Thursday Markets availability only. We have one space available each market day, and will do our best to accommodate. We do not allow Community Booths at the Night Markets.

MARKET DAY SPONSOR

  • ASSIGNED COURTYARD STALL (for one Saturday): $250

  • Review the 2026 Vendor Policies Handbook before applying.

  • Direct sales are prohibited. The sponsor may offer promotional materials. If you are looking to sell at the Market, please apply as a Vendor.

  • Available for Saturday Markets only. We have one space available each market day, and will do our best to accommodate.

2025 Application Instructions

  • Take Your Time & Use a Computer (NOT a Phone): You must fill out this application all at once, as you are not able to save it until it is fully completed. We strongly encourage using a computer, NOT a cell phone. If you require additional help filling this application out, Market Staff is available! Please let us know.

  • Required Supplemental Documents (licensing, certifications, Cottage Food labels, etc.): These files can still be uploaded directly with your application. You can find a list of these required documents in the 2025 Vendor Policies Handbook in addition to the Vendor Application. If your license is about to expire, please enter in the correct expiration date so we can contact you for the 2023 updated copy.

  • Adding Products Sold: When adding products, please be as specific as possible and enter each product in groups or individually. Please keep in mind the box that you enter in the products has a maximum character count, so you may need to continue your list of products on a new line. For example, you could list all of your fish products together: whitefish, lake trout, king (chinook) salmon, walleye, perch fillets, smoked whitefish, trout and salmon filets, smoked whitefish, trout and salmon pate.
