INGREDIENTS:

  • Handful of baby spinach leaves

  • 2 small beets or large

  • 10 blackberries or fruit in season

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • 1 cup of unsweetened milk

  • 1 tbsp. Greek yogurt

  • 4-5 ice cubes

Optional mix-ins: chia, hempseed, and/or ground flaxseed or 2 tbsp. oatmeal flakes

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Peel the beets and cut in half - cut into smaller pieces for easy blending.

    • You may steam the beets before using so that they are softer and puree more smoothly.

  2. Add all ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth.

  3. Enjoy!
