Soil Friends Farm and Market
Seasonal, general farm labor positions. Applicants can send resumes to email@example.com.
Looking for mushroom-loving folk who are interested in working Saturday farmers markets for us. Applicants need to be comfortable working alone, need to have an existing schedule that gets them up daily before 8am, and need to enjoy talking to people, and have a desire to learn about mushrooms. This job requires more knowledge than one might need selling other produce. Pay ranges from $70-$100 per day, depending on the length of the market, drive time, and whether or not one uses their own vehicle. We also offer a 10% bonus on any sales over a certain pre-determined amount. Preference given to applicants who have and are willing to use their own vehicles for transport to and from market. The work is conducted under a private contractor agreement and payment is received in cash the day you work. We also offer free and discounted product to our market staff regularly. Applicants can contact Chris at firstname.lastname@example.org or 616-309-7304.
